“Connection reset by peers” error during log in

This “Connection reset by peer”error may be caused by:

1. Too frequent requests to the SimpleLink server, which results in the IP being blocked temporarily.
2. Local provincial firewall in the specific place you live in China

Solution:

Please disconnect the VPN and Wi-Fi and switch to use 4G/5G and try again, or connect to a public wifi (Starbuck, McDonald, etc).

Usually this error will disappear by itself after a few hours if you do nothing (don;t keep trying, this make is worse).

If you use an iPhone, please go to iOS settings=>VPN, you can directly connect from there.

If you use Android, you can also go to Settings => VPN, and connect SimpleLink directly there.
