How to select the right plan and the difference among them

The different among these plan are mainly:

If you only use VPN for social media and browse web, the Basic Plan with 200GB / month and 2 allowed device might be enough.

Frequent VPN users, those who download a lot, watch HD videos, or streamer who requires fast speed and stability, are recommended to choose Premium/Pro/Elite plan for more monthly data.

For all the plans, the longer the subscription, the cheaper monthly cost.

By default, iOS user will subscribe Premium Plan or Pro Plan if they do it through in-app purchase. In case you are iPhone user, and doesn’t want to purchase Premium or Pro Plan, you can go to User Center and subscribe Basic Plan, then reload/relogin your app.

Even though we set a data cap, but when you use it, you will feel actually there is no limit, because very few users can reach this monthly cap and reach this bandwidth.

Statistically, 85% users found 200GB/month is enough, 90% users found 500Gb/month is enough, 95% of users found 1000GB/Month is enough, and 99% of users found 2000GB/Month is enough.

In case you run out of data before the data reset date, you can always purchase extra data in User Center.

Pro Plan and Elite Plan are for those work in Streaming industry, gaming industry, who use VPN to display live videos, interact with audience, etc. Because they will consume higher amount of data and require better speed.

We also offer Business Plan offer more devices allowed, so its a plan for office and for a team with 5-30 people. Please contact customer support if you are interested in this plan.

Q: How does Data cap works? If I purchase a seasonal or semi-annual plan, with 200GB a month, how does it work?

A: If you have one month subscription, your data will be set to zero after a month. If you have seasonal, semiannual, or annual subscription, your data will be reset every month (30 days). For example, if you have a 200GB data seasonal subscription, you will be reset to start with 200GB at the beginning of the cycle, no matter how much data you are left with at the end of the cycle. If you do not want your data reset every month, you can choose to purchase a Data Package. There is no time limit on Data Package.

Q: What if I used up all my data before data reset day?

A: If you are running out of data before reset day (before the next cycle begins), you can choose to Add Extra Data on Current Plan in User Center . Please be aware that the extra data you purchased will be set to zero at the beginning of the next cycle, or at the end of your subscription period.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to a higher level plan, which means higher data allowance per month.

Q: What does VIP level mean?

A: VIP levels corresponde to different plan you subscribed:

  • Free Trial: VIP Leve 5
  • Basic Plan: VIP Level 10
  • Premium Plan: VIP Level 20
  • Pro Plan: VIP Level 30
  • Elite Plan: VPN Level 40
  • Traveler Plan: VPN Level 25
  • Expired or no Plan: VIP level 0

Q: What is Allowed devices? How many devices does a personal VPN plan support?

A: You can use SimpleLink on unlimited devices within one household. The number of allowed devices refers to the number of different IPs allowed to connect to the VPN at the same time (simultaneously). Usually a mobile device when connected to 4G/5G will have one independent IP. In a household Wi-Fi environment, all devices connected to the router share the same IP, which is the IP of the router. If the plan you purchased has 3 allowed devices, then only ONE router can be connected at the same time (1 IP occupied). However, you can also connect a mobile phone and a computer when you are outside home (another 2 IP occupied). Three Allowed Devices (IPs) are enough for 99% of users. If the number of devices/IP exceeds the allowed number of the Plan, the system will prevent the new device from using the VPN traffic (You can connect but no data will flow.) and report it to the administrator. Frequent violation of this rule may trigger risk control. If you need more allowed devices and IP, please contact customer support.

Q: Can I pause my plan / current subscription and convert it to credit?

A: Yes, you can pause it and covert your remaining data to credit and resubscribe in the future. This can be done here: https://support.simplelink.site/user/code

There you can top-up your wallet, check your payment, purchase, and subscription history.

We don’t refund a subscription unless it is technical or quality issue due to our side.

Q: I purchased Basic Plan, but now I want to upgrade to Premium / Pro Plan. Or I want to downgrade? What should I do?

A: You can covert your current plan’s remaining data to credit and resubscribe another plan using this credit. This can be done here: https://support.simplelink.site/user/code

On that page, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, and there you can find a tab and at the end of tab, there is a button to convert your current plan to credit. Once you have converted, you can go subscribe another plan with the credit you have.

Q: Where can I find and apply Discount Code?

A: Here: https://support.simplelink.site/user/shop. We only support use of discount code in our User Center, not in mobile devices. We provide some special discount during promotion dates such as 11/11, Black Friday, etc.

Q: What is Plan expiration date?

A: It’s the date that your current subscription ends. Remember in SimpleLink we only provide one-time subscription. We don’t offer recurring subscription at moment.

Q: What is Next data reset data?

A: If you purchase a 3/6/12 months subscription, then it means the next data that you data will be reset to the data cap. Usually its reset every 30 days.

Q: What is my Remaining credit?

A: Your remaining credit is the virtual money that available in your account. You can top-up money into it. And use it as a way to purchase subscription. It’s 1:1 to RMB.

Q: What is a Bandwidth ?

A: It is the upper limit of your VPN speed. In 99% of cases, it’s more than enough and higher than the speed you can reach in normal connection (without using a VPN).
